A Private Charter is the way to do Stingray City when you don’t want to share the experience with other tour boats.
You charter the whole boat for your group — wedding party, family reunion, corporate group, friends’ trip — and we plan the day around what you want. The classic itinerary is Stingray City Sandbar + Coral Garden + Starfish Point, but private clients regularly mix in sunset cruising, sandbar-only marathons, full-day stops on remote stretches of coast, or photographer-friendly early-morning departures when the sandbar is empty.
Captain Darney runs the trip personally for private bookings — he knows where the rays settle in every tide condition, which stretch of Coral Garden has the clearest visibility on the day, and the quieter spots local guides keep to themselves.
Boat capacity: up to 20 guests. Starting price: $1,700 for the standard 4-hour Stingray City itinerary; longer or larger trips quoted on request.
